Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Economist to analyze and
communicate trends in the housing market.
Key Responsibilities
Study the economy and housing market to identify and communicate
trends affecting American living conditions
Utilize data to uncover insights and stories that inform the
public, press, and policymakers about the housing market
Collaborate with data scientists to model experiments related to
housing choices and their influences
Required Qualifications
Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or a PhD in Economics,
Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Expertise in SQL and statistical software packages such as R or
Python
Strong foundation in econometrics and experience with large
datasets
Proven track record of using data to inform business strategy
Experience with APIs and public datasets for economic research is a
plus
