Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Coding Coordinator to join
their claims processing team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct ongoing data analysis from medical record reviews to
improve provider documentation and coding
Participate in regulatory audits and ensure compliance with CMS
coding guidelines
Process both commercial and Medicare claims accurately and maintain
claims edits in the Optum edit system
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in a healthcare-related field or high school
diploma with CCS or CPC certification
One year of health insurance claims-related experience
Three years of healthcare-related experience
Advanced knowledge of ICD-10 and diagnostics coding
Experience in monitoring and evaluating audit progress within
cross-functional teams
