Job Title: Registered Nurse - ED Hold/PCU Float Position Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: Contract Shift: Variable Guaranteed Hours: Variable Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Progressive Care Unit (PCU); Emergency Department experience not required. License: Current Compact Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Certification Must-Have: Flexibility to float as required; Degree accreditation or 5 years of experience Job Description: - Provide care for adult and geriatric populations in a PCU setting. - Be flexible and willing to float to other sister campuses as needed. - Maintain a patient ratio of 4-6:1, depending on the patient mix. - Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for patient documentation. - Adapt to the culture of the units, integrating seamlessly and functioning as core staff. - Meeting the hard document deadline is crucial; all necessary documentation must be submitted by the Monday before the start date. - Wear Galaxy Blue scrubs for your shift. - A 50-mile radius rule applies for permanent address considerations. - Ensure all demographic information is up to date in your profile including address, date of birth, and nursing license number.
