Job Description:

The General Manager position in Fort Myers is responsible for all sales/design operations and staffing. Ensures that personnel are adequately trained, efficient, and effective. Develops and executes sales plans and goals designed to increase sales and profits and to minimize expenses. Responsible for the growth and profitability. Familiarity with sales and merchandising standards, policies and procedures, and competitive position.Responsibilities

• Assists VP of Operations/President with long and short run strategic planning.
• Oversees strategic planning for the store. Ensures that plans complement and support established Company-wide goals.
• Develops and implements sales promotions, operational plans, policies, and goals which further strategic objectives.
• Forecasts both long and short term profit and volume growth, sales by unit, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Familiarity with Company sales and merchandising standards, policies and procedures, and competitive position.
